Vedashram Trust is a dedicated non-profit organization committed to the promotion and preservation of Sanatan Dharma through the teachings and self-study of ancient scriptures. Established with the mission to uplift humanity morally, culturally, religiously, and spiritually, we are inspired by the timeless wisdom of Hinduism’s most revered texts – the Vedas, Vedanta, Bhagavad Gita, and Ramayana. We believe in making these teachings accessible to individuals across the world, guiding them toward a balanced and enlightened life through self-reflection, study, and spiritual growth.
Our activities are rooted in the holistic approach of Sanatan Dharma, focusing on building character, discipline, and values in all aspects of life. We conduct regular discourses, spiritual retreats, and workshops aimed at promoting a deeper understanding of the scriptures and fostering a community that embraces spiritual wisdom.
Our Mission
Our mission extends beyond spiritual teachings to address the needs of society. VedAshram Trust’s focus areas include:
1.Promoting Self-Study of Sacred Texts: We emphasize the importance of studying the Vedas, Vedanta, Bhagavad Gita, Ramayana, and other Sanatan scriptures. Through organized study sessions, discourses, and educational resources, we aim to empower individuals to deepen their connection with these profound teachings and apply them to their daily lives.
2.Yoga and Ayurveda: We believe in the integration of physical, mental, and spiritual well-being. Through yoga sessions and Ayurvedic treatments, we help individuals achieve balance and harmony in their lives. Yoga, as a practice of self-discipline, and Ayurveda, as a traditional system of holistic healing, are vital tools for personal transformation and health.
3.Cultural Upliftment: The Trust actively promotes the preservation and practice of Sanatan culture, instilling strong moral values, discipline, and cultural pride. We celebrate the festivals and rituals of Sanatan Dharma while educating the community about their spiritual significance.
4.Cow Service (Gau Seva): As part of our commitment to the welfare of all living beings, the Trust supports cow service (Gau Seva). We provide care and shelter for cows, honoring their sacred role in Hindu tradition. By doing so, we also work toward preserving indigenous cow breeds, which are integral to both agricultural sustainability and religious practices.
5.Annakshetra (Feeding the Needy): Through our Annadanam (Langar) and Sadhu Bhojan programs, VedAshram Trust operates food distribution centers to feed the poor, elderly, and underprivileged. Our Annakshetra ensures that no individual goes hungry, especially during significant festivals and spiritual gatherings.
6.Supporting the Underprivileged: One of our core objectives is to extend help to the less fortunate. We provide assistance to the handicapped, the poor, and those in need of financial support. Scholarships are offered to deserving students from underprivileged backgrounds to ensure that economic hardship does not hinder their education and spiritual journey.
7.Religious and Spiritual Services: The Trust offers a range of religious services, including daily deity worship, ritual offerings, and participation in sacred rites such as Pitru Paksha Mahadaan, which offers prayers and donations for the benefit of departed ancestors. We also conduct spiritual pilgrimages and ceremonies aligned with the Sanatan traditions.
